Cherokee National Prison Museum was built in 1875. The visitors may learn about Cherokee law and order at the Cherokee National Prison Museum. It also houses a two-building interpretive complex that covers Cherokee crime and punishment, law enforcement, life at the National Prison, and a look at legendary outlaws and their activities in the area.
